Doing What's Best for Our Residents
Coryell Health RehabLiving is an inviting home away from home where you can receive excellent care while retaining your dignity. As you drive up the tree-lined entrance, you will begin to see the care that has been put into designing an attractive and friendly atmosphere. Located on several tree-covered acres in Gatesville, Texas, RehabLiving's special design features a community dining room, an activity area and a formal family dining room. Residents are encouraged to bring personal items to make themselve feel right at home.
Resident facilities are designed to maximize dignity and comfort. Each room is designed so that every resident has their own private space, even in semi-private rooms. We offer a complete range of services including three meals a day, housekeeping, linen and personal laundry service, cable television, and a nurse call system.
Within RehabLiving, a separate and secure unit is available to meet the needs of the person with Alzheimer's or similar memory loss conditions who is at risk for wandering. This specially designed area offers a home-like environment that includes a comforting interior and an enclosed garden. Residents benefit from a program of care that stresses safety, reassurance and interpersonal contact.
Administrator Helen Munday welcomes you and your family and encourages you to come meet us. RehabLiving is conveniently located off West Highway 84 in Gatesville. Call (254) 404-2500 if you need additional directions.
Here is a letter from Helen,
It is a pleasure to join the Coryell Health RehabLiving team. It is an opportunity to promote skilled nursing, rehabilitation and excellent customer service to each of our residents and future residents. We provide long, short term and respite care.
Our Rehabilitation Team works closely with all the physicians and providers of the Coryell Health team. Hip, knee replacements, other spine and orthopedic surgical patients are encouraged to come and rehabilitate at the Coryell Health RehabLiving at the Meadows. Our new dedicated rehabilitation facility will soon be opening and more short term rehabilitation will be available.
Our Activity Director provides upbeat and fun activities to all of our residents. There are so many ways to get involved with all of our residents.
Dementia and Alzheimer’s slowly interferes with one’s mental ability to manage everyday life. We provide a stimulating, safe and tranquil environment for all those residents, within our Memory Care Unit. It is a round-the-clock solution to care for adults dealing with memory loss. We also provide rehabilitation to all the memory care residents.
We are continuously transforming the way we operate to improve our ability to give the best Nursing and Rehabilitation to our residents. Our nurses are all IV certified and do wound and respiratory care.
We could not accomplish what we do every day without our dedicated employees.
I know life gets busy, but I personally invite you to make time to tour our facility.
Helen Munday, LNFA, Administrator
